As a senior high-yield analyst, Nikolas Fodor’s responsibilities include identifying, recommending, and monitoring securities for our credit portfolios. He utilizes all aspects of credit analysis, including financial modeling, communicating with management teams, and developing a thorough knowledge of the covenants and structures of the securities in his coverage universe. He contributes more than 25 years of investment industry experience, spanning high yield and investment grade bonds, convertibles, and bank loans. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, he was at Vicasa Limited, leading the high-yield strategy for its family office. Prior to that he was a managing director at Arena Capital Advisors, helming research coverage for a high-yield bond fund. As Arena’s first analyst, Nik was instrumental in helping the fund generate top-decline performance and grow assets tenfold. Earlier in his career, he served as a vice president at Franklin Templeton, providing sector coverage for bank loans and high-yield bond issuers. He also worked as an analyst at Intel Corporation within its treasury group. Nik holds a BS in Business with an emphasis in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
